FT Lead Preschool Teacher

Do you have a passion for working with young children? Do you have the creativity, energy, and experience to create a positive preschool experience for a wonderful group of young learners? We are looking for you!

We are currently interviewing applicants for a full-time lead teacher in our 3-4 year old preschool classroom. Lead teachers are responsible for classroom and staff supervision, parent communication, and curriculum planning. We are a closely knit, professional group of early childhood professionals and are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment.

We serve a large population of high-needs children, and we are an independently owned center filled with educators who are mission-driven and passionate about the work they do.

This position requires an associate’s degree in education or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of one year’s experience working in a supervised classroom setting is required; specific experience working with preschool students is preferred.

Pay is based on qualifications; higher levels of education and experience will place candidates higher on the pay scale.

We would love to have you on our team!

Substitute Teachers and Substitute Assistant Teachers

We are currently scheduling interviews for on-call substitute teachers and assistant teachers. Substitutes work a variety of hours, covering classrooms when our regular staff are absent. Some hours are available in advance (when regular staff have planned absences), and some hours are available on a day-by-day basis (when regular staff have unplanned absences). Because this does not require committing to a set schedule, this is an excellent opportunity for students, and those with other part-time or substitute positions. The center is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. This is a temporary, need-based position that has the potential to move into a permanent part or full-time position as opportunities become available. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with children in a supervised setting, and have completed at least 6 semester credits in education or child development-related classes from a post-secondary institution.
