Hi! I’m Alexandra, founder of Pathways to Play and parent to two amazing kiddos! I'm a lifelong nature lover, and passionate advocate for kids with disabilities. My boys are full of energy and heart, but we quickly learned that the world isn’t built for families like ours. A simple hike, a trip to the beach, or a game of basketball at the playground wasn’t in the cards — not because we lacked the will, but because we lacked the right equipment. And what was out there was way too expensive or impossible to find.
That’s why I started Pathways to Play — to bridge the gap between families and the nature that heals us. We'll offer short-term rentals of adaptive equipment, so every child has a chance to move, explore, and just be a kid.
Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, painting under the sun, or dancing barefoot in the backyard, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful nature can be — not just for kids, but for parents and caregivers, too.
Pathways to Play is my love letter to families like mine — because every step, push, and roll matters.
